Amber Jane is firstly a tribute to Buddy Holly, one of the original singer songwriters, and secondly it’s a song about reuniting with a sports car called Amber Jane and embarking on a road trip whilst listening to your fav Buddy Holly tunes. On the other hand, it’s also a love letter to a girl of the same name (it’s entirely up to the listener). A co-write with Graham Buxton, it was a song we started, but never finished until now. I’m tempted to do a full studio version as I kinda like how it’s tuned out.
